Campsite - and a cancellation reassurance

With super-earlybird campsite pitch bookings (at the lowest possible rates) closing at the end of the year, we invite anyone who hasn't yet done so to reserve a pitch for 2022 now to benefit from the lowest prices:

We would like to reassure anyone booking a campsite pitch that if the event must for whatever reason be cancelled, full refunds will be made for all bookings, just as we refunded in full all who had pre-booked the 2020 event before its cancellation due to COVID.
|
At this point we are proceeding on the basis that the 2022 York Rally in June will be able to go ahead, but the organising committee is following developments closely and will meet regularly to review the situation and all official guidance. If there's any change, we'll inform everyone ASAP.

Make a week of it - Velo Retro and York Rally
|
We're delighted to be doing some joint publicity with Velo Retro - the vintage cycling festival which takes place just one week before the York Rally, a very pleasant cycle ride away at Ulverston on the southern edge of the Lake District:

Both events have campsites, so we're encouraging people to make a week's holiday to take in both events. Visitors from mainland Europe are especially welcome, with convenient access via the Hull ferry:

We do realise that this email is probably preaching to the converted, but please do pass on the graphics and message to anyone you may know who might like to join our two events - or please do share the very similar posts you'll find on our social media channels!
