Contact us

We now have a dedicated mobile phone number for the Rally – please use it if you have any queries during the event, or indeed before. It will be manned 24 hours in the immediate run-up and while the Rally is happening. Outside those times, it may not always be answered straight away, but we will respond to messages ASAP.

York Rally enquiries mobile: 07467 321 443

Please use this number for non-urgent enquiries.

York Rally Emergencies: 07596 831 541

Please call this number immediately if there is an accident, a threat to safety, or to report a lost child.

But in general, and especially for non urgent matters in advance of the event, we prefer that you contact the Rally by e-mail, and please be patient if a reply is not immediate. Everyone is a volunteer so day jobs sometimes get in the way!

For general Rally enquiries, or if you are not sure which address to use, please send an email to info@yorkrally.org and it will reach several of the committee members automatically.

  1. My wife and I have attended the rally and would like to give positive feedback. Well organised, nice program,Forresters good, pleasant family atmosphere like earlier years. Well done to everyone for all the hard work, much appreciated. The attendance numbers would suggest a good financial outcome.
We look forward to 2016 with the same formula please.

  2. I would like to commend and aplaud the commitee and volunteers for a great weekend and i am now looking forward to next year

    1. As a gang of three Bolton clarion members, I would endorse
Steve’s comments completely. The gang of three? Stephen Garthwright, Anthony Bowles and Charles Whittle.

  3. Thoroughly enjoyed York Rally 2015. Have bookmarked the dates for 2016 and will be encouraging another good turnout from members of the Rough Stuff Fellowship.

  4. Whilst mainly agreeing with others regarding the event I have some niggles. First the very good points – 2019 check point for camping no queue, improvement in shower facilities, undoubted hard work of the organising committee and all the volunteers.

The niggles – Friday evening quiz ( observed not entered) . Questions were too Yorkshire biased – I accept from my experience of organising events that the majority of attendees are fairly local but please widen the scope. Sadly some entrants were using smartphones under the tables though obviously couldn’t say they were using them to gain advantage.
Music at the event – Saturday daytime the players outside created a fabulous atmosphere whilst visiting exhibitors and purchasing products. In the evening, my family had attended for a while because it was my 75th birthday ( had led the RSF ride during the afternoon so time was limited). Showed them round and peered into the music. Quality of sound seemed great but the atmosphere iffy. Too much formal seating and no “friendly “ social ambience.
Have a minor issue regarding consultation at the start of the RSF ride I led. Not for public consumption but would hope to converse with the Official involved in private.
