York Cycle Festival 2024: 21-23 June 2024

York Cycle Rally

The historic host event, with roots in cycle touring but welcoming every type of cyclist to the Knavesmire since 1945

RetroBike Show

The Retrobike forum’s northern gathering for owners and fans of retro, vintage & classic mountain and road bikes

NCCC Summer Meet

Founded in 1895, and with 2000 members in 30 sections across the UK, the National Clarion Cycling Club promotes fellowship through cycling

Three great cycling events come together in Summer 2024 on the Knavesmire in York, UK to create the North of England’s finest and most friendly festival of cycling, the York Cycle Festival 2024. The festival, and the events which make it up, are all 100% volunteer organised.

Come to see everything from major brands to specialist retailers in the trade show, and meet enthusiasts bringing amazing displays of the bikes they’re passionate about. Plus, pick up a bargain at the cycle jumble and auction! There’ll be great food, craft beer, live music, spectacular grasstrack racing and a full programme of led rides.

There’s camping on site for those who would like to make a weekend of it, or you’re very welcome to just come for the day. The site is accessible and family friendly – so please bring the kids – and entry for everyone is free!

Looking for more details? Find out more about each event by clicking on the event websites listed above. For visitor information, details of the campsite, how to get to the Festival, and similar, please see the York Rally website. We’ll migrate info common to all events at the Festival onto this website in due course.

Trade show and exhibition space is free of charge with any campsite booking, or for just a nominal charge if you’re staying off-site (and we’ll waive even that for volunteer-run cycling organisations!).

Could your event be part of the next York Cycle Festival? We have almost unlimited space to grow the event and would love to hear from any organisation who would like to work with us. Please email the organising team.
