Under two weeks to go…

There’s now less than two weeks to go until the first Yorkshire Cycle Festival at Driffield Showground, on the 12-14 June! We’re now into the final countdown:

Campsite advance bookings close 5th June!

If you haven’t yet booked your campsite pitch, you have just a few days to do so – advance bookings close on the 5th June. Book a pitch online until the 5th June (or book glamping here – there are still some glamping tents available!).

You can also just turn up and pay for camping on the day – we will not run out of space, but it will be slightly more expensive, and we won’t be able to pre-allocate you a pitch alongside your friends or clubmates.

Show programme off to print!

We’ve now sent the full colour show programme off to print! Campers will receive a copy at check-in for each pitch booked – otherwise, you can pick up a copy at the Info Hub for just £2. Inside you’ll find a full schedule of what’s on, ride details, contacts for traders and clubs displaying at the event, local info and more including advertising from clubs and companies who support the event. Every programme purchase helps support the Festival.

After the event we’ll upload the programme as a PDF here – where you can also read programmes from previous years of the York Cycle Rally & Festival.

Site plan preview!

We thought it might be helpful to share the site plan for our new Driffield venue in advance – so that even before you arrive you’ll have an idea of how it’s all laid out. The image above probably won’t be legible – but you can download a PDF version here or using the button below. There’ll also be a printed copy in the show programme of course.

As you’ll see we”ve divided the campsite into zones for quick reference. There’ll be large format maps at campsite check-in, and clear A4 printouts available, to help you navigate to your allocated pitch.

Please note that all motor vehicles will need to arrive at the main entrance off the A164 (towards the bottom left on the site plan – satnav to “Driffield Showground” should take you there anyway). The cycle entrance (mid right on the site plan) is for cyclists and pedestrians only.

See you there!

Thank you again for all of your support, do please book your camping by the 5th if you haven’t already, and we look forward to seeing everyone at Driffield in June!

Until then, tailwinds and safe cycling!
