One week to go!

And a final call for campsite advance bookings – they close tonight!

There’s now just a week to go until the first Yorkshire Cycle Festival at Driffield Showground, on the 12-14 June!

With your help, we can make it every bit as enjoyable – or more – as the much loved events at our previous venue in York. Campsite bookings are looking good, we have a fantastic programme of rides, masses of traders and jumble sellers booked in, great arena events to join or watch, and an exciting new focus on 20″ wheels with our friends from the BMX and Chopper worlds.

And as you’ll see from the forecast above (from here), we’ve even booked some perfect cycling weather for the weekend!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone on site when gates open on Friday the 12th at 4pm.

Campsite advance bookings close tonight!

If you haven’t yet booked your campsite pitch, you have just a few hours to do so – advance bookings close at midnight (or soon after!) tonight, 5th June. Book a pitch online while you still can (or book glamping here – there are still some glamping tents available!).

You are also very welcome of course to just turn up and pay for camping on the day – we will not run out of space, but it will be slightly more expensive, and we won’t be able to pre-allocate you a pitch alongside your friends or clubmates.

Site plan preview!

We thought it might be good to again share the site plan for our new Driffield venue in advance – so that even before you arrive you’ll have an idea of how it’s all laid out. The image above probably won’t be legible – but you can download a PDF version here. There’ll also be a printed copy in the show programme of course.

As you’ll see we”ve divided the campsite into zones for quick reference. There’ll be large format maps at campsite check-in, and clear A4 printouts available, to help you navigate to your allocated pitch.

Please note that all motor vehicles will need to arrive at the main entrance off the A164 (towards the bottom left on the site plan – satnav to “Driffield Showground” should take you there). The cycle entrance (mid right on the site plan) is for cyclists and pedestrians only.

We have some further details of how to reach the venue by various modes of transport here

See you there!

Thank you again for all of your support, do please book your camping by tonight if you haven’t already, and we look forward to seeing everyone at Driffield next week!

Until then, tailwinds and safe cycling!
